The goal for "Irish in Denmark" this year is to help support the following organizations via fundraising efforts on behalf of the Irish community living in Denmark.

BØRNEfonden is a private Danish sponsor organization, which started in 1972. BØRNEfonden has no religious and political liaisons. BØRNEfonden is politically and religiously independent.

Mission:  BØRNEfonden helps children in poor countries grow up to become healthy, well-educated, independent adults and supports them and their parents in creating their own basis of living and developing their local community in a sustainable way.

Vision: A world where children are free and grow up as healthy, well-educated and independent individuals who create their own basis of living in a democratically managed local community.
